Dear Charity Golf Friends:

The Parrsboro Band Association in conjunction with the "The Hall" restoration project, is again hosting the annual Bernie Burke Memorial Golf Tournament.  This charity event in its sixteenth year, will take place on Friday 19August 2016  at our picturesque Parrsboro Golf Club.  The beneficiaries of this charitable event will be “The South Cumberland Community Care Centre” and the "The Hall", both Parrsboro and area charities. 

"Bernie" left us a great legacy - “dedicating himself to the Community”.  He gave willingly of his time and shared his love for music which was never far from his heart.  We would like to carry on his legacy by supporting local charities in his memory.

In the past we have sponsored The Parkinson's Society, The Canadian Cancer Society, our local Palliative Care Unit and “The Foundation” at the SCCCC in Parrsboro.  Last year we sponsored charities that made a direct impact in Parrsboro.  

This year we have chosen to concentrate more on our “Charities” and less on individual prizes. We will make certain you get “pride of place” for the top two teams, and the usual “fun” prizes.  Our Auction is always a hit. We look forward to seeing our old and loyal supporters and hopefully some new ones will come on board!
